Every year, Easter - 3id Al Kabir - at Mieh w Mieh is a special holy
period. For 40 days, services of "Ya Rab Al Kouwwat" are held, and
especially the last week, Mieh w Mieh residents celebrate Jesus
suffering and rising from death. This year 2007, two services were held
at the church on Good Friday the 6 of April, the first at 03:00 p.m.,
and the second at 07:00 p.m. The Hajmi service was held on Sunday
morning at 05:30 a.m. Easter Sunday service was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. |
